The Young Republicans of Texas are proud to endorse conservative champion Mayes Middleton for Texas Attorney General.
Mayes Middleton has been a consistent pro-Trump MAGA champion fighter in the Texas Senate for the America First cause–delivering conservative victories on issues relevant to Texans such as fighting the spread of transgender ideology, implementing laws that would help fight DEI in our institutions of higher learning, and strengthening our borders. In addition to opposing illegal immigration, Middleton sees the deleterious effects that legal immigration can have on Texans through the fraud and abuse of programs such as the H-1B visa. He concurs with YRT’s resolution on abolishing the H-1B visa and has pledged to do whatever he can, within the purview of his office as the Attorney General of Texas, to combat the fraud and abuse of this program. Therefore, due to his proven, consistent conservative record in politics and his ability to understand current issues such as the H-1B visa, the Young Republicans of Texas are pleased to join many of our friends in endorsing Mayes Middleton for the office of the Attorney General of Texas.
